The members of this group are musicians that I
for a long time have had the urge to play with.
Apart from a very high level of creative and technical
ability, they all possess the desire to share musical languages
and experiences regardless different musical and environmental
backgrounds.

I played in different constellations with Hans Andersson
for almost10 years enjoying his playing and commitment and
with Jesper Nordenström in C.V.Jørgensen Band where we
developed an understanding which would prove to be important
in this present constellation.

Martin France I heard in Copenhagen at several
occasions and everytime I would be deeply fascinated.
We started to communicate and found that we shared
a lot of ideas and concepts.

Julian Argüelles I only knew by his reputation and from a
few records as a sideman but luckily he was warmly recomended
by Martin and what a superb choice to make the group a unit.

The Music

My aim was to make some music focusing on simplicity
- small things but with as much substance as possible - trusting
that each musician would show his personality and skills within
the frame at hand - To diminish the distinction between composition
and improvisation - and to expose the player equally to the music.

On a cold day in january we went to Oslo to record this present
CD in Rainbow Studio.Jan Erik Kongshaug as always being a
source of inspiration.
