Julian Argüelles      
   

British saxophonist and ECM recording artist
Julian Argüelles also played with Django Bates´Loose
Tubes and Delightful Precipice among others such as: Steve Swallow,
Archie Shepp, Dudu Pukwana, Peter Erskine, Kenny Wheeler,
Hermeto Pascoal, John Scofield, John Abercrombie, Mike Gibbs,
Evan Parker, Andy Sheppard, Dave Holland, John Taylor and
the Carla Bley Very +Big Band. He also plays in a duo with
his brother, drummer Steve Argüelles and he is leading his own octet and quartet.

"Phaedrus"w/ John Taylor, Mick Hutton and Martin France (Ah-Um1990)
"Home Truths"w/ Steve Swallow, Martin France and Mike Walker (Babel ´95) "Scapes" a solo Project(1996)
"Skull View" w/ Django Bates, Martin France, Mario Laginha a.o.(Babel1997).
The latter being commissioned by the BBC and chosen as CD of the year in the Independent On Sunday.
